After being stranded in Munich for several days, due to the gounding of flights throughout Europe, the members of the Quartet New Generation have made it to the United States, via Zurich, this afternoon, and will belatedly begin their spring US tour in Castleton on Sunday.

We are thrilled to be presenting this dazzling recorder collective, hailed "mind-blowing" by the Los Angeles Times. Their Castleton program includes baroque materworks of Bach, Handel and Frescobaldi alongside contemporary works, several written for QNG, all designed to showcase the exceptional variety of their 20-odd instruments and the breadth of musical styles they create.

As ever, the exceptional intimacy of the Theatre House is ideally suited to capture fully the virtuosity and range of colors that exemplify the QNG's work. We hope you can be with us to share in the wonderful experience of a concert at Castleton.
